1

Agreement, eligibility, and account authority

By creating an account, accepting these terms, or using Tayer Rider, you enter into a binding agreement with Otlob Tech, the operator of Tayer ("Tayer", "we", "us"). You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of contracting. You may not create an account for an unaccompanied minor or allow another person to impersonate you.

If mandatory Egyptian law gives you rights that these terms cannot restrict, those rights continue to apply. The Arabic version is the primary version for use in Egypt; the English version is provided for convenience.

2

What Tayer does — and who provides the ride

Tayer provides the technology and regulated operational services used to request, match, support, monitor, and record trips. The accepted driver personally operates the motorcycle and is responsible for controlling it and performing the trip safely. Drivers generally provide transportation as independent service providers, unless mandatory law or the actual relationship requires a different classification.

Tayer is not merely a passive notice board. We retain the responsibilities imposed on an app-based passenger transport company by Egyptian law, including applicable licensing, driver and vehicle checks, service monitoring, records, pricing disclosures, and complaint handling. Nothing in these terms excludes those duties or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

3

Your account and information

You must provide accurate name, contact, identity, and trip information; keep your sign-in credentials confidential; protect your phone; and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless it resulted from our breach or another cause for which the law makes us responsible.

We may verify your phone by SMS and may support email/password, Google, or Apple sign-in. You must not create duplicate, fraudulent, or misleading accounts or evade a restriction placed for safety, fraud, or legal reasons.

4

Trip requests, fares, cash, and cancellation

A request is not a confirmed trip until the app identifies an accepting driver. Pickup times, routes, and arrival estimates are estimates and may change because of traffic, weather, road closures, availability, or safety conditions. Confirm that the driver, motorcycle, and plate shown in the app match before boarding.

Tayer currently supports cash trips. The app will show the proposed or agreed fare and any disclosed cancellation amount before it becomes payable. Pay only the amount confirmed for the trip, subject to a correction required by law or a resolved support case. Do not arrange an off-platform trip or payment to avoid platform safety controls or records.

You may cancel through the app. Repeated bad-faith requests, no-shows, unjustified cancellations, payment refusal, or fare manipulation may lead to proportionate restrictions after review.

5

Rider safety responsibilities

Motorcycle transportation involves risks, including collision, falls, weather exposure, and injury. This notice does not transfer to you risks caused by another person’s fault and does not waive a legal claim.

  • Wear the correctly fitted helmet supplied or approved for the trip and comply with lawful safety instructions.
  • Do not ride if the driver, motorcycle, plate, or displayed account does not match the app, or if the motorcycle appears unsafe.
  • Do not distract, touch, threaten, pressure, or instruct the driver to speed, violate traffic rules, overload the motorcycle, or use an unsafe route.
  • Do not carry prohibited, dangerous, illegal, or unusually valuable items, and do not request transportation that exceeds lawful passenger or load limits.
  • Use a lawful and reasonably safe pickup/drop-off point and remain alert when boarding or leaving the motorcycle.
6

Drivers, motorcycles, and statutory checks

Drivers must maintain the licenses, operating permissions, insurance, vehicle condition, training, and documents required by law and by Tayer. Tayer may screen and periodically re-check drivers and vehicles and may suspend access where a safety or compliance concern exists.

Checks reduce risk but cannot guarantee that a person will never commit misconduct or that a motorcycle will never develop a defect. Report a mismatch, unsafe condition, expired document, or suspected impairment immediately and do not begin or continue the trip where it is unsafe to do so.

7

Accidents, emergencies, injury, death, and property damage

In an accident or immediate danger, move to safety if possible, contact the appropriate emergency and law-enforcement authorities, obtain medical help, and then report the incident to Tayer. Do not rely on the app as an emergency service. Preserve the order ID, photos, witness details, police or medical reports, and insurance information where safe and lawful.

Responsibility for injury, death, motorcycle or third-party damage, and related loss is determined by the facts and applicable law. A driver remains responsible for their driving, traffic violations, and vehicle custody; a rider remains responsible for their own unlawful or negligent conduct; and Tayer remains responsible for its own fault and statutory duties. Tayer may cooperate with authorities and insurers and may restrict accounts while a serious incident is reviewed.

8

Conduct, harassment, discrimination, and unlawful use

Treat drivers and others with dignity. Harassment, sexual misconduct, violence, threats, discrimination, theft, fraud, weapons, drug activity, deliberate damage, abusive communications, and retaliation are prohibited. A person who commits misconduct is responsible for it, without limiting any responsibility Tayer may have for its own action or failure to act.

We may share a report with the affected driver, authorities, insurers, professional advisers, or safety personnel where permitted and necessary, while limiting disclosure to what is relevant.

9

Lost items, theft, and personal property

Keep your belongings with you. Neither Tayer nor the driver becomes a warehouseman or guarantor of property left on a motorcycle. We may use trip records to help you and the driver communicate without guaranteeing recovery, storage, delivery, or condition.

This does not exclude liability where loss or damage was caused by a person’s theft, fraud, negligence, or another basis recognized by law. Never arrange an unsafe private meeting to recover an item; contact the police where theft or danger is suspected.

10

Account restriction, suspension, and termination

We may warn, limit, suspend, or terminate an account where reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, repeated non-payment, misuse, legal compliance, investigation, or protection of users. We will use proportionate measures and provide notice and an opportunity to contact support where practicable, except where immediate action or confidentiality is required.

You may stop using the service or request account deletion. Ending the account does not erase accrued payment duties, incident evidence, lawful claims, or records that must be retained. Privacy consequences are explained in the Rider Privacy Policy.

11

Service availability and force majeure

The service may be unavailable, delayed, or interrupted because of network or cloud failures, maps errors, traffic, weather, civil disturbance, government action, strikes, epidemics, disasters, or other events outside reasonable control. We do not guarantee continuous availability or that a driver will accept every request.

A force-majeure event excuses performance only to the extent recognized by Egyptian law and does not excuse duties that can still reasonably be performed, amounts already due, or liability that the law does not permit us to exclude.

12

Liability and fair allocation of risk

To the maximum extent permitted by law, each party is responsible for proven direct loss reasonably caused by its breach, negligence, unlawful act, or misconduct. Tayer is not responsible for a loss caused solely by a driver, rider, third party, or event outside our reasonable control where Tayer did not breach a duty and the law does not impose responsibility on us.

We do not exclude or limit liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, gross fault where exclusion is prohibited, our tortious acts, violation of non-waivable consumer or data-protection rights, or any injury, death, or damage for which liability cannot lawfully be excluded. Any exclusion applies only to the lawful extent and must not reduce Tayer’s obligations under Egyptian Consumer Protection Law or transport law.

You will be responsible for reasonable, proven claims and costs caused by your unlawful use, fraud, deliberate misconduct, or material breach, but not to the extent caused by Tayer’s or a driver’s fault or by a duty that law places on another party.

13

Complaints, disputes, and governing law

Contact support first with your order ID and relevant evidence so we can investigate. Nothing prevents you from contacting the Egyptian Consumer Protection Authority, police, transport regulator, Personal Data Protection Center, insurer, or another competent authority.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The competent Egyptian courts have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer forum or procedure. We do not require private arbitration or waive your right to seek lawful redress.

14

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for legal, safety, product, or operational reasons. We will publish the effective date and provide prominent notice or seek renewed acceptance where a change is material or the law requires it. A change does not retroactively remove accrued rights or liabilities.
